Job Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for leading and managing the talent acquisition team to attract, recruit, and retain high-quality talent across the organization. This role involves strategic planning, developing recruitment policies, and ensuring the company attracts top talent to achieve its business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Management:
    • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and plans aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans and market trends.
    • Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team, providing guidance and support.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the recruitment team.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide developmental feedback to team members.
  3. Recruitment Process Management:
    • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle from job posting to onboarding.
    • Ensure recruitment processes are efficient, fair, and compliant with legal requirements.
    • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  4. Candidate Sourcing and Attraction:
    • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment agencies.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners and institutions.
    • Implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
  5. Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide recruitment support.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about recruitment progress and challenges.

  8. Compliance and Legal:
    • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Stay up-to-date with HR trends and evolving employment laws.
  9. Benefits Administration:
    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
    • Handle benefits inquiries and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in talent acquisition, talent management, talent strategy and talent operations, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role.
    • Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes and leading a robust HR team.
    • Experience in handling senior-level and niche roles in terms of recruitment.
    • Experience in handling employee engagement, employee relations and aligning the structural policies that pertains to employee wellness.
