A mechanical engineering diploma is preferable but not mandatory; we can also look at someone with a diploma/ degree in Industrial Relations. At least 6-8 years of experience as an Admin & Liaison Manager in any manufacturing plant is mandatory. Objective is to ideally get a person with exposure to Greenfield Projects.
He will not be directly responsible for technical work but mainly for all admin/ operational matters related to plant. He should have thorough knowledge of Plant Administration, Vendor Management, Liaising and Statutory Compliances. He will work hand in hand with the Production Head and Works Manager going forward. Hindi speaking skill is mandatory.

1) Co-ordination and liaising between plant and HO
2) Auditing on a weekly basis of all records maintained by Plant
3) Interaction with various external government bodies like land, excise, pollution, factory department and sales tax departments etc.
4) Overseeing fulfilment of all statutory requirements
5) Responsible for commercial negotiations and execution of any on site work including new process implementations.
Experience as an Admin & Liaison Manager in any continuous process industry plant is a must.
(It is not mandatory for local candidates to relocate with family if they are selected for the job. This is particularly applicable for senior candidates based out of neighbouring cities that they can work at Plant location from Monday to Saturday and then visit family/ home on Sundays)
