Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst to join our Data Lake team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory data management, with hands-on experience in sourcing, validating, and analyzing data for RBI and other statutory reports. This role requires close collaboration with compliance, reporting, and technology teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data sourcing and transformation for key regulatory reports (e.g., CRILC, CCR, LRS, Basel II/III, ADF, R-Return, BSR).
• Work closely with compliance and finance teams to interpret reporting requirements and translate them into data specifications.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and auditability of data sourced from the Data Lake and other enterprise systems.
• Build robust validation, reconciliation, and exception-handling frameworks.
• Drive data quality initiatives and establish strong data governance practices.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices for regulatory data handling.
• Demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic regulatory environment and proactively lead data-related projects to completion.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits, and internal reviews.

Required Skills:

• 7–12 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on regulatory reporting in banking.
• Deep understanding of RBI guidelines and regulatory data requirements.
• Proficient in SQL, and familiar with big data technologies is a plus (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.).
• Experience with data lake/warehouse environments and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with banking products, general ledger systems, and core banking data structures.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
