Job Description: Relationship Officer (RO)
Location: Banking Unit
Position Summary:
The Relationship Officer (RO) is responsible for developing and managing group loan portfolios within
the assigned area. This role involves identifying new leads, forming and nurturing customer groups,
ensuring efficient loan disbursement, and maintaining excellent collection standards to achieve
business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify prospective customers and create new groups in the designated area to expand the
group loan portfolio.
• Conduct daily group meetings to educate and generate awareness about group loan products.
• Facilitate the admission of new customers into existing groups and assist them in loan
application processes.
• Meet business targets related to group loans and ensure high collection efficiency, maintaining
100% installment collection standards.
• Conduct field visits to verify customer business locations, assess household income, and
validate addresses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date group loan registers and documentation on a daily basis.
• Monitor the quality of the group loan portfolio and take proactive measures to maintain a
healthy loan book.
• Perform thorough field verification and ensure compliance with KYC requirements prior to loan
disbursement.
• Conduct end-use verification post-disbursement to ensure proper utilization of loans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote continued business and
loyalty.

- Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary); Graduation preferred.
- Age: 22 to 32 years
- Experience: Atleast 0–2 years in microfinance group loans; freshers are also welcome.
- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
- Willingness to travel and relocate as per business need.
