Key Responsibilities
Clinical
- Perform a wide range of open and laparoscopic surgical procedures
- Carry out pre-operative evaluations and manage post-operative recovery
- Participate in emergency surgeries and rotational on-call duties
- Provide OPD and inpatient surgical consultations
- Maintain accurate medical and surgical documentation
Patient Care
- Deliver empathetic, ethical, and patient-centred surgical care
- Communicate clearly with patients and family members regarding procedures and outcomes
- Ensure proper informed consent and safety protocols
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to NABH protocols and SA8000 social accountability standards
- Uphold sterile and infection-control practices
- Participate in audits, quality assessments, and peer-review activities
Teaching & Collaboration
- Mentor and support junior clinicians and residents
- Participate in CMEs and interdisciplinary clinical meetings
🔹 Required Qualifications
- MBBS + MS (General Surgery) or equivalent postgraduate degree
- Valid license to practice in India
- Registration with MCI / National Medical Commission
- 3–5+ years of post-qualification surgical experience
