Job Description: IT Vendor Management
Description:
· Manage four stages of vendor management – i) Segmentation, ii) Collaboration, iii) Implementation & iv) Evaluation.
· To ensure that all service level agreements (SLAs) for Information Technology (IT) services across the organization are delivered according to specifications.
Duties:
The key responsibilities of the IT Vendor Management are as under, but are not limited to the following:
· Interacting with vendors concerning any concerns
· Build and maintain good relationships with already approved old and new vendors.
· Communicating with the vendors and performing the quality check and improvements
· Interacting with new vendors to explain the expectations and responsibilities
· Developing, managing, and administering service management best practices.
· Monitoring SLA performance for compliance with organizational needs and requirements.
· Facilitating communication between the IT department and its clients in order to define and maintain the SLAs required for each business unit.
· IT Vendor Outsourcing management as per RBI Master Direction
· Maintenance of Contract Management, Agreement renewals and renewals of Contracts and Orders
· Maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines and assisting in closure of all non-compliant points on IT from internal and external Auditors related to IT Outsourcing Services.
· Preparation of the due diligence check list for the IT Outsourced Services and updating the IT Vendor List and IT Outsourced Services List.
· Conducting periodic Performance review of the Service Providers for the IT Outsourced Services.
· Manage audits and also forefront RBI regulatory points
· Maintaining the Escrow Mechanism for Critical Applications.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Ø Bachelor's degree in supply chain management business administration, or a related field.
Ø Proven experience working as a vendor manager.
Ø The ability to multitask effectively.
