Job Purpose / Summary:
To ensure that the Bank follows the relevant guidelines issued by RBI and other regulators in respect
of the assigned functional areas, including assessing the compliance level through various testing of
regulatory line items, new products and processed launched, including system implementation and
review of Policies/SOPs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor activities of assigned Treasury related areas to ensure compliance with internal
policies and procedures including monthly, quarterly, and annual account and activity
reviews
Work collaboratively with Treasury teams for ensuring accurate and timely compliance to
Treasury related regulatory requirements to meet stakeholder expectations
Make broad recommendations on improving compliance related processes and/or
procedures pertaining to the Treasury departments
To initiate, review and finalize Compliance Testing reports
To review the Product and Change Management Committee agenda notes, internal
circulars, policies etc. in line with the laid down procedure.
To provide advisory and timely clarifications on various regulatory matters within the
organisation in respect of assigned functional areas
To validate information provided by various functionaries, with the available records/data
prior to its submission to RBI (including items sought during RBS onsite)
To monitor, review and ensure timely compliance w.r.t. observations pointed out during
testing, observations identified by regulators etc.
To provide views/advisory on the draft responses for the regulatory/statutory
correspondences received by the Bank and/or other compliance issues/concerns as and
when raised by various functionaries
To monitor that comprehensive actions are taken timely by respective Departments to
ensure compliance of regulatory/statutory inspection reports

To prepare periodical progress report for the Top Management, Board, Board Level
Committees and Inspection Reports of the regulators
To monitor closure of Compliance Testing observations
To prepare agenda notes for Board/Board Level Committees
To prepare presentations, notes and/or reports, as & when required
Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:
Educational Qualification and Certificationso
Graduates / post graduates preferably MBA or professionals like CA/CMA.
o Certifications in the areas of Treasury and Risk like FRM/PRM, CTP etc. will be an
added advantage.
Relevant Job Experienceo
12+ years of work experience in Banking/Financial Sector w/w at least 5 years
should be in treasury.
o Experience in compliance, audit or risk in treasury related areas will be an added
advantage
Skills and Competencieso
Be a quick learner and self-starter, proactive with the ability to work effectively with
minimal supervision while simultaneously contributing to the team.
o Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
o Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
o Good writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize findings
and present in a clear, concise manner to peers and Managers.
o Ability to adapt to new changes and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
o Ability to prioritize workflows and meeting deadlines.
o Good liaising skills
