Job Title: Manager-Estate

Location: Estate

Department: Production

Reporting To: GM Operations

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Agriculture or Botany

Experience: 15-20yrs with min 3 years as Estate Manager

CTC: Rs 18 – 23 Lacs

Responsibilities: Responsible for overall Management of the Estate which involves full supervision of all estate operations and providing guidance and advice to estate employees in order to ensure all goals and targets set for the year are achieved.

Working Conditions: Based at the estates

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Responsible for the Agricultural operations, Production, Plucker’s productivity, Raw material Quality & Cost Control.
• Find innovative ways and means to improve tea productivity at all levels and reduce costs keeping quality of the product intact
• Quality of the produce
• Ensuring the proper utilization of hospitals/Dispensaries
• Prepare development plans, revenue and capital budgets
• Man – Management, Labour safety & Welfare
• Provide Leadership to the Executives, Staff and Workers of the Estate
• Handling Industrial Relations of the estates
• Training of Staff and workmen
• Liaison with Local Trade Union leaders and Govt Officials

• Benchmarking and implementation of best practices
• Ensure strict compliance of all company policies and values including environmental protection
• Ensure timely and effective address to all statutory requirements
• Interact with suppliers and buyers/brokers and all other stakeholders to obtain feedback for continuous improvement

· Implementation of ISO 22000/SA 8000/ETP/OHS

· Administering disciplinary action for all employees on the estate

· Administrative functions like Sanctioning Employee leave of absence, loan from PF etc
