About the Role
We are seeking an AVP - Investor Relations (IR) to join our Investor Relations team at Bandhan Bank. The role is critical for maintaining transparent, timely, and effective communication with investors, analysts, rating agencies, and regulators. The AVP – IR role will ensure that the bank’s financial performance, strategic initiatives, and governance policies are clearly and consistently communicated, while supporting compliance with all statutory disclosure requirements for an Indian listed universal bank.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Disclosure
· Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial results, investor presentations, and statutory disclosures for the stock exchanges
· Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of financial communications
· Prepare investor fact sheets, management commentary, and presentations for analysts and investors
Investor Communication & Engagement
· Coordinate investor calls, meetings, roadshows, and analyst interactions
· Respond to queries from investors, analysts, and rating agencies in a professional and timely manner
· Maintain and update investor and shareholder databases, track shareholding patterns and stakeholder engagement
Regulatory Compliance
· Ensure adherence to SEBI, RBI, and other relevant regulatory guidelines for listed banks
· Support the IR team in periodic reporting to regulators and filing statutory disclosures
· Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure governance and disclosure standards are met
Market & Peer Analysis
· Monitor industry trends, peer bank performance, macroeconomic developments, and capital-market conditions
· Provide insights to senior management on market sentiment, investor perception, and analyst views
Cross-functional Coordination
· Work closely with business verticals, finance, treasury, risk, compliance, and corporate communications teams to gather data and ensure consistency in messaging
· Support strategic initiatives like capital raising, debt issuance, or investor campaigns as required
Qualifications & Skills
· Educational Background: Bachelors in finance, Economics, Commerce, or Business Administration; MBA, CA, CFA or similar qualifications preferred
· Experience: 2–5 years in Investor Relations, Finance, Treasury, Equity Research, or related roles; experience in listed banks or financial services strongly preferred
· Skills:
o Strong financial analysis, modeling, and reporting skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to prepare professional presentations
o Knowledge of regulatory environment for listed banks (SEBI, RBI, Companies Act)
o Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
o Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
