: This leadership position involves strategic planning, real-time network management, team supervision to maintain continuous service availability and security of an organization’s network infrastructure to meet business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Managing Network Performance and Uptime; maintain network availability in line with agreed SLAs. • Monitor and manage network incidents to minimize downtime. • Incident and Problem Management • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for critical network incidents. • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify preventive actions. • Team and Resource Management • Identify recurring issues and implement process improvements. • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs). • In Collaborate with ISPs, managed service providers, and vendors. • Ensure SLA compliance for external services. • Generate reports on network performance, outages and other key matrices and analyse data to identify trends and area for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to IT leadership and documentation. • Introduce automation tools to improve monitoring and efficiency. • Ensure network security best practices are followed. • Manage access control and security protocols. • Conduct periodic security audits and compliance checks • Network performance optimization: Analyse the network performance, identify the issue and implement improvement. • Plan and implement network upgrades and new deployments. • Ensuring the issue resolution within TAT, collaborating with several departments.
Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required: • 12 to 15 years of overall experience Network or IT infrastructure industry • Strong technical knowledge of network protocols, architectures and technologies. Expertise in routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs. • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or CCIE are required. • Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, OP manager etc.). • Understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion prevention etc. • Knowledge of server and operating systems (Linux/Windows). • Experience with automation tools • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills • Familiarity with ITIL-based service management (Incident, Change, Problem). • Proficiency in developing SOPs, dashboards, and KPIs. • Background in project deployment and network migrations. • Leadership, Communication and Coordination Skills Recommended By: Approved By
