Key Responsibilities
Trade Marketing Strategy
· Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with brand and sales objectives.
· Design cluster-level activation plans to drive visibility and sell-out for consumer care products.
· Work closely with the Head of Trade Marketing to implement national trade programs at the cluster level.
Channel Development
· Drive growth across General Trade, Modern Trade, and Wholesale channels.
· Identify opportunities for improving distribution reach, retail penetration, and merchandising standards.
· Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key channel partners.
Market Execution
· Plan and execute in-store activations, promotions, and merchandising initiatives.
· Ensure high-quality point-of-sale visibility and display standards across outlets.
· Monitor execution through field visits and coordinate with sales teams.
Consumer & Market Insights
· Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and shopper insights to recommend actionable strategies.
· Track promotion effectiveness, ROI, and trade scheme performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Sales, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams for seamless execution of trade programs.
· Support product launches through trade engagement and retail activation programs.
Budget & Performance Management
· Manage trade marketing budgets and promotional spends effectively.
· Track KPIs including sell-out growth, distribution expansion, and retail visibility metrics.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
10–16 years of experience in Trade Marketing / Sales / Channel Marketing in the FMCG or Consumer Care industry.
