Job Purpose / Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Product to identify and implement best in the industry solutions for addressing Small Business owners’ financial needs pan India. The role will involve market research, product development, and product lifecycle management with a focus on portfolio growth, portfolio quality and compliance with statutory requirements.

As the Head of Product, you will need to collaborate with various stakeholders (internal and external) for timely and lasting solutions, with a sense of urgency and proactiveness. You will be expected to contribute significantly to business growth, ensuring good product health, while aligning product strategies with the Bank’s objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Product Lifecycle Management:

o End-to-End Product Implementation (ideation to post-launch monitoring)

o New Product Development & Modifications

o Development of new products and modifications to existing products to meet market and customer needs, in line with compliance and regulatory requirements.

· Product Monitoring

o Ensure products launched are performing optimally.

o Track and monitor portfolio delinquency and take necessary actions to maintain portfolio health.

· Governance & Compliance

o Alignment of products, policies, and processes with the latest regulations and the bank’s internal guidelines.

o Internal & external compliance

· Business & Collections Team Support

o Product Support for Business & Collections teams

o Effective training for product & process

· Stakeholder Management

o Ensure proper alignment with all key stakeholders: Customers, Business team, Credit team, Collections team, senior management & across other functions in the Bank.

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

· Educational Qualification – Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field

Relevant Job Experience:

· 12+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the Banking or financial services industry.

In-depth knowledge of banking products, policies, and compliance requirements.

· Proven track record of successfully managing the product lifecycle from concept to execution.

· Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of P&L management and strategic product positioning.
