Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Executive Assistant to support the Director at Shyam Steel. This is a senior-level role requiring a professional who can go beyond traditional administrative responsibilities and actively contribute to business insights, particularly in sales analysis, reporting, and decision support.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted partner to the Director, ensuring seamless execution of strategic priorities, high-level coordination, and data-driven business support.
This is a high-impact, strategic position offering direct exposure to leadership decision-making and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Support & Coordination
- Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Director
- Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel, and communications
- Prepare agendas, presentations, and briefing documents for internal and external meetings
- Act as a liaison between the Director and internal/external stakeholders
2. Sales Analysis & Business Insights
- Analyse sales data, trends, and performance metrics across regions/products
- Prepare detailed MIS reports, dashboards, and actionable insights
- Support the Director in reviewing sales strategies and identifying growth opportunities
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and finance teams for data consolidation and analysis
3. Strategic & Operational Support
- Track key business initiatives and ensure timely execution
- Assist in business planning, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Drive follow-ups on key decisions and action items across departments
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives
4. Stakeholder Management
- Interface with senior leadership, clients, and external partners
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Facilitate effective communication across departments
5. Documentation & Governance
- Prepare reports, minutes of meetings (MoMs), and executive summaries
- Ensure proper documentation of key decisions and business communications
- Maintain organized records for easy retrieval
Key Requirements
- 12–25 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing / steel / infrastructure sectors
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant to CXO/Director level
- Strong expertise in Sales analysis, MIS, and Business reporting
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data handling
- Strong business acumen and analytical mindset
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Experience working closely with sales or business leadership teams
- Exposure to ERP/CRM systems
