Experience: Minimum 2 years in Branch Banking (non-sales) with technical and operational exposure

Role Overview

To proactively monitor branch banking transactions for potentially fraudulent activity using the BANKiQ application, ensuring timely identification and escalation of suspicious patterns. The role demands vigilance, analytical acumen, and readiness to work in a 24x7 shift environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor real-time and post-facto alerts generated from branch banking transactions in the BANKiQ application.
  • Analyze transaction patterns to detect anomalies, unauthorized activities, or potential fraud indicators.
  • Investigate alerts related to cash deposits/withdrawals, fund transfers, account openings, and other branch-level operations.
  • Escalate confirmed or suspected fraud cases to relevant stakeholders as per defined protocols.
  • Liaise with branch teams to gather transaction details and customer information for alert resolution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails for all alerts reviewed and actions taken.
  • Ensure adherence to internal fraud risk policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in periodic reviews, internal audits, and compliance checks.
  • Support in preparing MIS reports, dashboards, and trend analysis for management review.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the transaction monitoring framework.
  • Stay updated on emerging fraud trends and typologies in branch banking.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Branch Banking, with hands-on exposure to transaction processing and customer service.
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (Commerce/Finance preferred
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple alerts efficiently.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· High level of integrity and attention to detail.

· Willingness to work in rotational shifts including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays (24x7 environment).
