Berger Paints is seeking a seasoned business leader for the role of National Sales Manager – Dealer, based at its Kolkata headquarters. This position is pivotal in driving dealer network performance, strengthening distributor relationships, and accelerating sales growth within the Protecton business unit.

The role focuses on building and managing a robust dealer ecosystem by fostering strong relationships, enabling sales through strategic support, and ensuring optimal product positioning to achieve profitability targets. The incumbent will work closely with dealers to enhance sales performance, streamline inventory management, and ensure efficient order fulfillment in coordination with internal supply chain teams.

A key aspect of the role involves analyzing market trends, tracking competitor activity, and providing actionable insights to shape business strategies. The position also requires driving dealer development initiatives such as roadshows, client engagement programs, and training sessions to improve product penetration and market reach.

Reporting directly to the Vice President & Business Head, the role carries leadership responsibility with a direct reportee and demands strong capabilities in relationship management, negotiation, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have 15–18 years of experience in dealer/distributor management or sales, preferably within relevant industries, along with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of distribution dynamics. An academic background in chemical engineering or chemistry with an MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred.
