PRODUCT MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose / Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to drive the development and management of financial products designed to meet the needs of Small Business Owners across India. The role involves end-to-end product lifecycle management — from concept to rollout — ensuring business growth, portfolio quality, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

A suitable candidate would require strong domain knowledge, analytical ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end product development and management, including design, launch, and performance tracking.
• Enhance existing products and introduce new solutions in line with market trends and customer needs.
• Ensure full regulatory and policy compliance for all product initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio performance and coordinate with Business, Credit, and Collections teams for quality improvement.
• Provide product and process support, including training and communication to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective product implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in business, Finance, or Technology.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Product Management within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Strong understanding of SME / Business Loan products, credit policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven experience in product lifecycle management and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
