1 JOB DESCRIPTION Job Purpose / Summary: Head Office Audit is responsible for leading and managing internal audit engagements across various departments and functions at the head office. This role ensures audits are conducted in accordance with internal audit standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. The Team Leader will plan, execute, and report on audits, assess risk management and internal control systems, and provide recommendations for improvement. Additionally, the role involves supervising audit staff, coordinating with department heads, and supporting the development of the annual audit plan. Duties and Responsibilities: Fully Responsible for the State / Zone / Territory assigned to him/her Calendar Planning and execution within TAT and allocation of Audits within the team Conducting of various audits as per audit plan and finalization of audit checklist Ensure timely closure of audit reports Placing of audit reports at various levels of management, Board and ACB in a timely manner Review of Audit reports submitted by Auditors Keep himself/herself updated on the Management directives/benchmarks assigned to the Business/Operations unit from time to time Keep himself/herself updated on Regulatory guidelines in the area of Audit and disseminate the same to the team Recommend for change in processes (as and when warranted and identified during his/her course of Audit review) Conducting of special audits/snap audits and spot audits Manpower Planning and Recruitment – Responsible for managing the team assigned Audit File closure post obtaining confirmation of compliance and audit response from Auditee Responsible for TAT (Audit completion + Report submission for release) Skills and Competencies- - Human Capital Management - Regulatory reporting and compliance - Knowledge in Reporting of PSL, NPA and liability account opening - Drafting and Analytical skills - Audit software and Ms Office Suite - Internal Auditing, Risk assessment and Financial analysis
