Job Purpose / Summary:

· To work as Zonal Security officer at each of the Zones to drive Physical security & safety policy, procedures & guidelines of Bank.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Be primarily responsible for the security of branches, offices, currency chests, and other Bank establishments within their zone.

· Maintain Private Security Agency (PSA) security staff under their supervision at a high level of efficiency, taking responsibility for their training, discipline, and morale, and issuing necessary instructions within established policy guidelines.

· Monitor & enforce compliance with all security and safety instructions, directives, and regulations issued by Head Office.

· Provide guidance and support to all branches and administrative offices during any emergency.

· Conduct security & safety audit of all Banking outlets.

· Conduct risk categorizations of branches.

· Monitor and analyse incidents/offenses affecting the Bank's property and recommend countermeasures.

· Exercise delegated authority and control within defined limits.

· Promote security & safety awareness among staff.

· Conduct and facilitate mock drills for fire safety and robbery at bank branches and offices.

· Assess the deployment of security guards in response to sudden breakdowns in law and order, in consultation with local police.

· Perform any other duties as assigned by Head Office from time to time.

· Coordinating with law enforcement and other relevant authorities

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

· Educational Qualification-

ü Retired Junior Commissioned Officers or equivalent from Paramilitary forces (CRPF/BSF/SSB/ITBP/CISF)

ü Graduate with proficiency in MS Office.

ü Age not exceeding 50 years of age.

· Relevant Job Experience-

ü Experience of working in BFSI sector is desirable.

· Skills and Competencies-

ü Certifications on Fire Safety, Disaster Management, PSP (Physical Security Professional), or CPP (Certified Protection Professional) are desirable.
