Job Purpose / Summary:

The role of Relationship Manager – H&E is to identify new customers and be responsible to manage and expand relationships within the Healthcare & Education segment by driving asset and liability business, delivering customized banking solutions, ensuring strong portfolio quality, delivering customized financial solutions tailored to sector needs and achieving business growth targets for the Bank.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage existing relationships across the assigned portfolio. Also, responsible to identify & onboard new H&E customers across -

o Hospitals & healthcare chains, Diagnostic centres

o Schools & educational trusts

o Colleges & universities

o Coaching/training institutions

· Develop strong engagement with CXOs, treasury teams, and key decision-makers of the company and act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for any kind of customer engagement and servicing.

· Drive growth in assets and fee-based income from FIG customers to meet the annual budget of self and Region across -

o Term loans and working capital facilities

o Equipment financing

o Infrastructure/project financing

· Identify and drive liability and cross-sell opportunities to increase wallet share of existing & new relationships, including:

o CASA & salary accounts

o Collection accounts

o Escrow solutions

o Transaction Banking & CMS solutions

o Insurance products

· Conduct basic financial analysis, due diligence and preliminary credit assessment and assist Credit Analyst/RCHs in CAM preparation.

· Prepare portfolio monitoring reports, exception reports, risk summaries for management presentations.

· Coordinate with credit, legal, compliance, operations and risk teams for transaction execution and account management.

· Monitor portfolio quality, timely repayments and post-disbursement covenant compliance.

· Identify Early Warning Signals (EWS) and support timely corrective actions for stressed accounts.

· Support strategic initiatives such as co-lending, securitization, and direct assignment transactions.

 

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

· Educational Qualification – Graduate, MBA or equivalent qualification preferred

Relevant Job Experience – 5-10 Years (in Corporate Banking, FIG, or Institutional Banking role).

Skills and Competencies-

· Knowledge of institutional banking and lending products with an understanding of healthcare and education sector financing.

· Relationship management and business development capability.

· Financial analysis and basic credit assessment skills.

· Strong communication, presentation and negotiation ability.

Analytical mindset with strong coordination capability
