Job Purpose / Summary:

The Head of Portfolio Monitoring will be responsible for end-to-end oversight and continuous improvement of portfolio monitoring processes, ensuring strong governance, audit readiness, risk control, customer experience enhancement, and timely MIS/reporting. The ideal candidate will have cross-functional exposure and a strong background in governance, operations, and stakeholder management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process Monitoring & Improvements: Monitor and analyze existing processes with a focus on efficiency and compliance. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Governance: Audit, Risk & Compliance: Maintain proactive control over governance activities related to audit, risk, and compliance. Liaise with internal/external stakeholders for governance activities. Regularly update all customer-facing documents (contracts, website, etc.).
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and share timely MIS reports to support business growth and PAR control. Generate ad-hoc reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints. Continuously work towards improving the overall customer experience.
  • Leadership: Contribute to overall business growth and PAR control. Collaborate with senior management and other departments. Lead and manage the team with a results-oriented approach. Drive high PMS ratings for reportees.

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

Experience:

15–22 years of relevant experience across Wholesale Banking, Operations, BOCS, Audit, Branch Banking, or Digital Banking. Preference for candidates with strong exposure to process governance and stakeholder management.

Qualifications:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills Required:

· Strong understanding of process monitoring, governance frameworks, and compliance.

· Proven experience in handling audits and risk-related functions.

· Excellent data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.

· Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

· Leadership and team management capabilities.

Industry Background: Preferably from a Banking or NBFC background with hands-on knowledge of business loan ecosystems and distribution management.
