Job Purpose / Summary:
· The Regional HR Business Partner – GB is responsible for implementing and managing HR strategies and initiatives within a specific region, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s business objectives. This role focuses on optimizing recruitment processes, improving operational efficiency, driving performance management, and fostering talent retention. The Regional HR Business Partner will work closely with business leaders like Regional Heads and Zonal Heads of Branch Banking to enhance employee productivity, ensure compliance, and deliver HR services that contribute to the Bank’s success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Recruitment & Talent Management:
Oversee recruitment within the region, ensuring the timely and effective hiring of key roles.
Collaborate with business leaders to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
· Operational Efficiency:
Streamline HR operations, including employee code creation, background verification, and onboarding, to ensure efficiency.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance in recruitment and onboarding procedures.
Monitor the probation confirmation process to ensure smooth transitions for new employees.
· Performance Management:
Partner with business leaders to drive performance management initiatives, including setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and identifying development opportunities.
Analyze employee productivity and manage performance improvement plans (PIP) for underperforming employees.
Oversee the promotion and role elevation processes within the region.
· Employee Engagement & Retention:
Implement strategies to retain top talent and reduce attrition within the region.
Provide support to employees and managers to address concerns and maintain a positive work environment.
Support employee development and career progression by collaborating with senior HR leadership
· Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure full compliance with internal HR policies, procedures, and external regulations.
Support internal audits and ensure that all HR processes are conducted in line with company standards.
Track and report on HR metrics, including recruitment, employee performance, and retention.
· HR Support & Employee Relations:
Provide ongoing HR support to the business, including resolving employee issues and fostering strong relationships.
Ensure that HR services meet the needs of the business, maintaining a focus on customer service and employee satisfaction.
Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:
· Educational Qualification- Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
· Relevant Job Experience-8-10 years of experience in the role of HR Business partner
· Skills and Competencies-
o Knowledge of HR practices, recruitment, performance management, and compliance.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work on multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
o Understanding of labour laws and HR policies.
