Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Acquisition & Revenue Generation

  • NTB Acquisition: Source and close high-end Current Accounts (CA) via open market lead generation.

  • Monthly Deliverables: Achieve a target of 4 to 5 Current Accounts per month, ensuring at least 2 Premium Current Accounts (PCA).

  • Funding Targets: Secure an Initial Premium (IP) of ₹3 Lakhs and ensure a Month 1 (M1) Monthly Average Balance (MAB) of ₹4 Lakhs.

  • Compliance: Strictly adhere to internal bank policies and regulatory guidelines, including robust KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.

2. Client Onboarding & Activation

  • Seamless Transition: Manage the end-to-end customer onboarding process to transition accounts smoothly to the Branch Banking team.

  • Account Activation: Drive account usage and transactions within Month 1 (M1) and Quarter 1 (Q1).

  • Portfolio Maintenance: Ensure at least 80% of customers maintain their specified Average Quarterly Balance (AQB).

3. Digital & Service Penetration

  • Digital Adoption: Achieve a minimum of 75% penetration in Internet Banking adoption among the acquired base.

  • Value-Added Services: Achieve a minimum of 50% penetration in Doorstep Banking (DSB) services.

4. Strategic Cross-Selling & Business Solutions

  • Proactively run lead generation activities to map commercial catchments.

  • Liaise with the Branch Manager and specialized product teams to offer holistic business solutions.

  • Cross-sell high-value products including Retail Business Loans (RBL), Trade products, Foreign Exchange (FX), and Cash Management Services (CMS/DSB).

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

Education

  • Minimum: Graduate in any discipline.

  • Preferred: MBA / Post Graduate Degree + IRDA Certification.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of proven experience in New-to-Bank (NTB) Current Account acquisition within a banking environment.

  • Prior experience focusing on the SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) segment is highly preferred.

  • Deep geographic and strategic knowledge of local commercial catchments and business segments.

  • Fluency in the local language is mandatory.
