Role - Cluster Head - Recovery(SBAL)

Experience - Min 5 years of experience in MFL/NBFC or small Finance Bank. Strong experience in collections/recovery, preferably in Small Business Loan, Agri Loan, MSME, or secured asset portfolios.

Grade - Asst. Manager /Deputy Manager/Manager

Salary Range - 40,000 to 50,000( Gross )

Educational Qualification - Min Graduation

Job Purpose / Role Summary:

The Cluster Head – Recovery (SBAL) is responsible for managing recovery operations across the assigned cluster for Small Business and Agri Loan (SBAL) portfolios. The role includes monitoring delinquency and NPA accounts, supervising Collection Executives, ensuring effective field recovery activities, coordinating legal recovery processes, and achieving recovery targets while maintaining compliance with Bank policies and regulatory guidelines.

Main Accountabilities:

· Manage recovery and collection performance across assigned Banking Units within the cluster.

· Monitor overdue, delinquent, NPA, and write-off accounts to ensure timely recovery action.

· Conduct regular visits to high-delinquency and critical overdue locations to strengthen recovery efforts.

· Supervise and guide Collection Executives on daily field visits and follow-up activities.

· Review collection efficiency, recovery performance, and slippage control across the cluster.

· Ensure reduction of SMA-2, NPA, and write-off accounts as per organizational targets.

· Conduct monthly performance reviews and coaching sessions for collection staff.

· Coordinate with Territory Head and business teams for effective recovery planning and execution.

· Ensure implementation of appropriate legal recovery mechanisms including notices, settlements, and legal escalation wherever applicable.

· Monitor customer complaint resolution and ensure ethical collection practices.

· Maintain accurate recovery MIS, portfolio data, and timely reporting to management.

· Ensure adherence to the Bank’s Code of Conduct, compliance standards, and audit requirements.

· Track field productivity and ensure regular monitoring of critical accounts.
