Role purpose

Lead the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Bank’s branches and offices. Ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and ready for business, with timely resolution of service requests and consistent performance across regions

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee repair and maintenance of assets across banking outlets and other Bank premises, including electrical systems, security surveillance systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety systems, and other facility services.

• Monitor helpdesk service requests, prioritize business-critical issues, and ensure closure within agreed turnaround times.

• Guide regional IFM teams, review aged cases, and escalate recurring or high-impact issues for timely resolution.

• Manage vendor performance against contractual obligations, SLAs, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance, including completion status, equipment condition, and recurring failures.

• Coordinate with branch teams and internal stakeholders to minimize business disruption during repairs and emergencies.

• Support audits, inspections, incident response, and continuous process improvements.

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate/Masters in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline; relevant professional qualifications would be an advantage.

• 10–15 years of experience in multi-site infrastructure or facility operations, preferably in banking, financial services, or a large distributed organization.

• Strong experience in vendor management, maintenance planning, service desk operations, and regional team leadership.

• Working knowledge of building systems, safety requirements, contracts, statutory compliance, and operational reporting.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to resolve operational issues across multiple locations.
