JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose / Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in SWIFT Applications and SWIFT Messages to drive requirement analysis, solution implementation, and process enhancements. The role involves collaborating with business/operations, and IT teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and reliable SWIFT-based transaction processing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

SWIFT Application Responsibilities

• Drive installation and implementation of SWIFT Application such as SAA, SAG, AWP, and SNL.
• Facilitate configuration changes for new requirement in UAT, including UAT testing activities and production validation.
• Oversee and analyse payment message flows to ensure successful routing and delivery.
• Coordinate and manage SWIFT Annual Standards Release (SR) activities, including impact assessment, requirement analysis, testing, and implementation.
• Ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes.
• Manage administration related activities for Transaction screening system (TSS) and Relationship Management Application (RMA)
• Manage and coordinate SWIFT GPI implementation, enhancements, tracker integration, and related change initiatives to support end-to-end payment transparency and tracking.
• Lead requirement clarification sessions and participate in solution reviews with vendors and stakeholders
• Analyse and validate SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 (MX) message requirements for new business initiatives, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.

Common Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to gather requirements, drive discussions, and ensure successful delivery of SWIFT-related initiatives.
• Coordinate and facilitate UAT activities, production deployments and post-go-live monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to SWIFT standards, regulatory guidelines, security controls, and audit requirements.
• Participate and coordinate in audit reviews, compliance assessments, DR drills, VAPT closure and risk management activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs and operational runbooks.
• Provide functional expertise and coordinate resolution activities for SWIFT application issues in collaboration with support and vendor.

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

· Educational Qualification-

B.Sc. CS, B.Sc. IT, BE, M.Sc. CS, M.Sc. IT or equivalent

· Relevant Job Experience-

6 To 8 Years

· Skills and Competencies-

1. Thorough understanding of overall SWIFT Architectures, SWIFT Applications and SWIFT Network infrastructure (must have).
2. Hands-on experience with SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SWIFT Alliance WebPlatform (AWP), SWIFTNet Link (SNL), HSM, Transaction Screening (TSS) and SWIFT GPI.
3. Experience working with ISO 20022 (MX Messaging) standards and migration initiatives.
4. Strong knowledge of SWIFT MT message types.
5. Hands-on experience on Windows server and Linux server environments.
